Col N Ramanan, a 1971 war veteran. After 37 years of active Army service,
retired in 2006. During his army service he commanded various Indian Army Units as a commanding
officer. He was active (20 officers an 890 mans) in north east, J &K and desert areas in
Rajasthan. In the past he was CO for NCC battalion HQ Mumbai where he trained more than 3000 NCC
cadets, resulting many of them have achieved their goal as some of them have joined defence and
many corporate sector.
From Sep 2006 to July 2013 he held the appointment of chief of Administrating Security and Fire
in Mukand Ltd Thane. Under the Aegis of TBIA (Thane Belapur Industrial Association) functioned
as chairman of peace and security in the Thane Belapur Industrial Area. Conducted Security and
fire audit of industries in the area. Conducted various fire fighting lectures and demos,
including to the employees of Bajaj at Nariman Point.
